This module provides an introduction to The Gottman Institute, our Clinical Training programs, and Drs. John and Julie Gottman. John and Julie welcome you to the course and describe the workshop format and resources. The videos cover chapters 1-6 in the manual. John introduces theories and describes methods to help you become an expert observer. Julie reviews the clinical process for Gottman Method Couples Therapy and provides an in-depth view of Assessment Sessions 1, 2 & 3. John introduces the Oral History Interview and shares video of an in-session interview.
