Therapy Sessions: Live
Length: 10 hours

Course Developer:
The Gottman Institute

Filmed in Dr. Julie Gottman’s private practice office, these uncut sessions clearly show how to integrate key Gottman Method assessments and interventions into your own clinical work. These are the full sessions of the Paul and Shantel film clips shown in the Level 1 Training. Return to them again and again to observe how a master clinician uses the Gottman Method in practice with a real couple.

You’ll witness the first assessment session, including the Oral History Interview and Conflict Interaction exercise. Watch attacks of The Four Horsemen, and see how to stop them and facilitate the implementation of their antidotes. Observe many key clinical interventions including Softened Start-Up, the Stress Reducing Conversation, Creating Shared Meaning, and more.
